Campers Get Moving with:
1) Walking and Running on trails each morning;
2) Fishing with Pathkeepers Intern, Mr. Elias and playing with the goats; and
3) Tending to and Picking Vegetables in the Camp Garden.

Campers expressing themselves through creative, cultural activities, including:
1) Powwow Drumming and Singing led by Mr. Ralph Zotigh
2) Beading Workshop led by Ms. Baker
3) Making Skin Healing Salve led by Miss Angelina. Campers gathered and dried medicinal plants and made all natural skin healing salve.
Camp included many other creative and educational workshops, and we were honored to have incredible guest presenters. Special thank you to all our guests, elders and volunteers! Some of these educational workshops included:
1) Creative Logic and Poetry workshop led by Poet-In-Residence, Barney Bush.
2) Presentation of Miss Jazmyn Rose Espinoza, one of the Center for Native American Youth's 2015 "Champions for Change."
3) Navajo language and culture workshops led by Pathkeepers Board member, Lucinda Long-Webb.
4) "College Day" with officials from University of Virginia, American University, Virginia Tech and Ft. Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.
3) Music Composition Workshop led by Mr. Gali Sanchez, and recorded at White Dove Studios, Culpeper, VA. A very special thanks to Greg Harpine for his time and use of his wonderful recording studio!
Field Trip to Washington, D.C. - Day One:
1) Tour of the U.S. Capitol
2) Meetings with U.S. Senator Tom Udall of New Mexico, U.S. Senator Jon Tester of Montana, and U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich of New Mexico
3) A quick swing by the U.S. Supreme Court
4) Met with Center for Native American Youth senior staff, Josie Raphaelito
5) Touring the National Museum of Natural History, led by Pathkeepers Board member and official Museum guide, Bambi Kraus
6) Ran into Forest County Potawatomi Chairman Harold "Gus" Frank back at our hotel, the Residence Inn Capitol, which is co-owned by the Tribe and always takes good care of us!
Field Trip to Washington, D.C. - Day Two: Visiting the National Museum of the American Indian; campers and staff acting silly while waiting to go into Native Museum; campers and Camp Director, Miss Angelina, present Head Chef Jerome Grant of the Mitsitam Cafe in the Museum, with salmon donated by the Nisqually Tribe; visited with Bureau of Indian Affairs program directors.

Fun Pictures around Camp: Eating fresh, healthy and traditional foods; hanging out around Camp; collecting water and helping to clean up after meals; and special thanks to Miss Jennifer and Miss Stephanie for all of their help cooking such wonderful and tasty foods all week!
Last Day of Camp: Campers give Final Presentations to the entire Camp, and Say Goodbyes, until we see each other again.....
